040618 - Devil's Hopyard State Park
The main attraction in Devil's Hopyard State Park is Chapman Falls. The falls are
fed from a swamp, which explains the yellow color of the water. There are several
paths that lead to the base of the falls. From this vantage point you get the full
impact of the waterfall. Near the entrance to the park is a meandering river and
a tiny covered bridge.
The image was shot with a Nikon F3 and 300mm f/4.5 lens on Ektachrome Plus 100;
approximately a 10 second exposure to blur the water flow.
