070613 - Nobska Point Light, MA
Near Woods Hole on the southern coast of Cape Cod lies Nobska Point Light. It was built in 1876 and
stands 40 feet high. The keeper's house serves as the home for the commander of the Coast Guard Sector
Southeastern New England. Its light is a fourth-order Fresnel, that flashes white every six seconds
with a red section.
